Lori Brauer

Lori Brauer is an analytical creative with a passion for community. Lori offers 20 years of administrative, financial, operational, and multi-faceted leadership experience in managing charitable nonprofit organizations.

For 12 years, at the Michigan Council of Women in Technology Foundation (MCWT), Lori evolved to lead multiple administrative and organizational functions and teams. She supported significant partnership expansion and membership growth; empowered strong digital marketing efforts; and led robust operations, including database development. With a mission to “make Michigan the #1 state for girls and women in technology,” MCWT benefited, significantly from Lori’s efforts, tripling the number of financial sponsors/donors and quadrupling the organization’s membership roster over that period.

In 2016, Lori became Special Events Manager for the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan. During her tenure she implemented new software to help increase event participation and donations so that the foundation experienced a significant increase in both, primarily through the events that Lori initiated and successfully executed.

Lori joined the Mario Morrow & Associates team in August 2021 as Lead Project Manager and Senior Meeting Planner. With her vast experience, industry knowledge, and multidisciplinary background, Lori adds extremely impactful work to the success of the clients at MMA.

Homegrown, Lori graduated from Wayne State University with a BFA degree. Lori finds time to hone her metalsmithing and graphic designs skills, with commission work. Lori has served on the Michigan Silversmiths Guild executive board and volunteers in her community with various other nonprofits.
